Ghee pak is a delicious sweet which melts in the mouth.
Ingredients:
Gram flour 1 Cup(roasted and sieved)
Sugar 1 1/2 - 2 Cup(as per your taste)
Water 1/2 Cup
Melted ghee 2 Cup(1+1)
Method
1. Roast the gram flour for 2-3 minutes carefully otherwise it will stick on bottom. Roasting the flour is to remove the raw smell of it. After roasting, sieve the flour and measure. First measure the ghee then measure other ingredients proportional to ghee.
2. Take 1 cup of melted ghee and add the flour to it slowly and mix very well without any lumps. Keep aside
3. In a heavy bottomed pan add sugar and water together and place it in medium flame to make sugar syrup. Stir well this mixture continuously. Check the consistency when it becomes boiling. Place a small drop of syrup between your thumb and index finger then check the consistency. When you get one string consistency as in the picture keep in very low flame.

4. Add the ghee-flour mixture to the sugar syrup slowly by stirring it. Stir continuously otherwise it well get dark. Add remaining ghee occasionally and stir well.Stir the mixture in low flame till the mixture becomes like in this picture.
5. Pour the mixture in to an aluminium tray greased with ghee or butter. Let it cool and cut it diagonally before it cool completely, otherwise you cannot get it in correct shape.
6. Enjoy the Sweet Of South.
